We are partnering with Chantiik a local NGO in San Cristobal. They work to help better the lives of children and young people, as well as indigenous workers in the San Cristobal area. Expect to help mix concrete, paint, and build with bricks or wood. We will do whatever is necessary to help provide the families of San Cristobal with a better opportunity to live and thrive. We will be helping to improve the living conditions of multiple families throughout the week.

Just bring a great attitude. There are no requirements for how much or how little you do. Your presence is enough!
At the end of your week we promise that you will have made new friends as well as changed the life of some children in need.
Your participation also helps support local restaurants and hotels, construction workers, small businesses, transport drivers, guides, vendors, and more.
Please arrive at the Tuxtla Gutierrez International Airport by 7:30pm on Saturday. You can arrive early if you would like, and we can secure the hotel for any additional days you need. We will provide transport from the airport to the hotel. On Sunday we will acclimate to the new city and get to know one another.
Plan on being ready by 7am each day from Monday to Friday. A typical work day will be from 8am until noon. After lunch we will work from about 1pm to 4pm. We'll have plenty of snacks and water on the job site. Dinner will generally take place around 7pm, and we'll choose a different place to eat each night. On Friday we will have a farewell "party" on-site with the families and staff. On Saturday we will have a free day to tour San Cristobal.
Our final team meal will be dinner on Saturday evening together. We will provide transportation to the airport. If you want to extend your stay we can assist with the hotel or getting you to your next destination.
